Subject: Seat Safty IP: Logged
Message: I just ordered a Dak Sport. I've noticed that the seats (both the buchet and split bench are the same) dont provide very much head/neck support. It seems that if I were ever in an accident the back of my head has several inches to snap back before it connects with the head rest portion of the seat. That doesnt seem safe to me. Am I being silly, or should I sew some sort of custom pillow and attach it around the back of the seat for extra safety?
Thanks.

Message: I was in a front end collision with my '00 Club Cab. I 'T-boned' the other guy doing somewhere between 30 and 40 mph. For some reason the air bag did not deploy. As far as me moving once I hit the other guy, the seat belt locked down and I didnt move an inch. I dont remeber if my head bounce around any or not, but I really dont think it did. I was able to get out of the truck and walk around, I was not injured in any way, and come to think of it, none of the existing soreness in my neck and back havent acted up since the wreck.
