Hey "Dlyons", remember me? You said you'd send a check "tomorrow" for the rims that you claimed you wanted to buy. That woulda been Nov.28th.... I had said that I wasn't willing to separate the wheels from the tires, but decided to do it anyway (regretfully).
It's inconceivable that your "check" would take this long to travel from Oregon to California, so I must conclude that you've changed your mind. Could it have anything to do with the posting placed SHORTLY AFTER I made the deal with you (same rims for sale at a lower asking price)?
I hope not, cuz that'd make you an "A" hole. I PAID to have the tires dismounted because you said you'd buy the rims. I guess it's MY fault for trying to do someone a favor.
I'm guessing that I'm right about you changing your mind, cuz if you really DID send the check, you'd be askin' about shipment dates by now.
Hopefully (for you), you don't believe in Karma. Now I have to lower the price, cuz someone's gonna need to PAY to have the tires mounted and balanced, and that gets to come out of MY pocket.
Thanks for wasting my time and costing me money.

broeheem, i dont know if i told you, but i work in a tire shop at costco in the city of industry. if you can wait untill the next SZ meeting, we can drive over and ill mount and balance them for free. (its only about 1/4 mile from SZ) or if you want to come down sooner just let me know when.

Knob - Actually, I was more disgusted than teary-eyed... people ought to keep their word. Yeah I know... I can still sell 'em, but the point was: If you make an agreement with someone, be man (or woman) enough to follow through with it.
Lesley - I'm not sure whether you were complimenting Kota on 20's or insulting Dlyons, but either way, I'm in total agreement!
mwillis61 - I've decided that I'll just put the wheels on eBay, which will provide me with a legal contract with anyone who places a bid. I wish I didn't have to do it this way, but my time is very valuable to me, and I'd rather not waste any more of it dealing with people I don't know without benefit of some kind of safeguard. I find that being burnt once on this issue is enough.
Thanks again, Eric, for the offer, the photo, and just for being a stand-up guy. Have your truck all polished up for the January SZ meeting.... I have an even better digital camera now.
