Subject: deacceleration spatter

On deacceleration I have spatter like unbruned fuel in the exhaust.
Latly on long deacceleration it spatters for a few secs, and then clears up.
Is this normal or can it be correted.(thanks)
98 5.2 4x4 man.

Since the IAT is seeing cooler temps.... the pcm is giving the engine more fuel. Pretty much a normal operation.

Thats the funny thang is it has got a little better now that that the temps have droped off.
