ok heres what i am planning on doing:
i was thinking about getting a cap for my short box reg cab and putting some seats in the box so my hole family can go places instead of taking two vehicles which is the norm for now.
i was wondering how hard it would be to install the front bench seat into the box.
also how much do the seats from a dakota with the 40 20 40 split cost? these would be going in the front as the current bench would go in back.

Check your local laws concerning people riding in the back of pickups. It is illegal in most places. It does not matter that you have installed seats. Besides, exhaust can get into the back, cap or no cap. Parents have found their kids dead in the back of their capped trucks when they got to where they were going.
