Subject: stainless steel guage overlay IP: Logged
Message: I have seen stainles steel guage over lays for chevys and rams, but has any one seen it for 2001 daks. Stylin concepts have them but not for 2001 daks. I was going to make one my self but stainless steel is very difficult to cut then I still have to polish it. Any ideas I was told to use the stainless steel rocker trim. I have no experience with it is it easy to cut and will it come out smooth seeing it comes in a roll.

Message: The Billet Superstore (www.billetsuperstore.com) has a billet overlay for the gauge portion of the dash. I don't think there's any difference in this portion of the dash between the models - the only offset that I'm aware of is the 6k tach on earlier models, and 7k on the newer daks.
As far as the rest of the vehicle goes, http://www.customautotrim.com/ has a series of dash kits for all models of dakotas and durangos that offers multiple wood styles, carbon fiber, and 'brushed aluminum' kits for the doors, dash, and both consoles.
