I have a 97 dakota 4x4 318 that I bought to pull my business fishing boat. The problem I have is the brakes. They have never seemed to have any power to them, even when I don't have the boat behind. What I am looking for is an aftermarket brake swap to hopefully increase the stopping power.
Anybody have any ideas. Larger power assist? Bigger disk brakes? Better pads? Any help would be appreciated as I don't really want to get rid of the truck.
