I Spotted An Interesting Looking '00 - '02 2wd Club Cab Today That Had Black SXT Decals On The Doors. It Was Silver With Sport Rims And Black Flairs (Gave Me An Idea) But It Had The Base Bumper's With No Fogs. Anyone Ever Heard Of Such A Truck Or Is The Owner Or The Dealer Creating His Own Concoction.....

Its a 2002 trim option. I think DC is trying to clear out the parts bins. IF I'm not mistaken, its an appearance and option package only with a 3.9L 2wd.

I saw it on the Dodge site. It would be exactly what I'd buy if it were available with a V8 and if I were looking to buy a new one. Sort of a stripper model, but it looks cool.
Okay, when I say stripper model, I'm not referring to women that take off their clothes for money. But if Dodge included one of those in the package...

Yeah it is nothing special at all they all have 6 cyclinders and 2wd with different colored bumpers and wheel flares, i think its called monoque gray or something like that. And the only other thing would be the decals, i thinks thats it.

Got one about a month ago, rest of the comments are pretty much on target. Stripper model, has fancy wheels, big tires, flares, graphite grill and bumpers, stabilizer bar on back, bucket seats and AM/FM/CD player. Mine is Flame Red, dealer I bought from now has a white one on the lot. Has 3.9l V-6 and the 5-speed, although I've seen some with automatic.
I've also seen the package on the Durango.

I've seen a Dakota SXT 4X4 on a dealers lot. The flares and bumpers only come in charcol grey. I don't know if the 4.7 is offered, I never checked. This is in Canada, I don't know if the States have a different setup with their SXT's.

you can get the SXT in 4wd, and I'm pretty sure with a V8, the flares are graphite metallic...it also comes standard with the tire and handling package

I HAVE a 2002 SXT CC 4x4 (yes they do come in 4x4). Here's the poop. It only comes with a V-6. V-8 is NOT an option. It comes standard with the tire/handling package which gives you the 16x8 wheels and the rear anti-sway bars, standard CD player and A/C. It has the center console and two front bucket seats. Everything else is pretty much an option. It is more or less a no frills trim line. The bumpers and flares are graphite metallic. To see a pic go to reader's rides album #18. Last row, second one in. It's the dark garnet red one. It has a very nice looking stance.

I am going to pickup my 03 dakota SXt 3.9 saturday morning, and I Got it for 12, 500... It has a 4 speed automatic a brand new transmission being built this year calld the 42LE, they took away the 45rfe due to toooo much capability in the 45rfe for hevy duty and medium duty vehicles, including the Hemi

I just bought a '03 RC SXT 4x4, V6, Auto, Air, 16x8 Wheels & P265 tires,flares, tilt,buckets, center console, slider and it has the 42RE tranny.
It was the lowest price amoung the big three for a 4x4. ($16,213.00 after rebates and discounts)
So far I am very happy, it would have been nice to have a V8, but you had to get much more options, and $$$ just to get a V8.

I bought an 03 CC Graphite, LSD 4.7L 5spd standard, and it was funny... the sales guy was trying to get me to buy an SXT,... Everytime he would say it i'd say hell no they only have v6's. The last time he said it he goes..., if i find an SXT with a v8,... will you buy it?... I said absolutely... where do i sign,... it took him an hour and a half to figure out that they only come in v6's... when he came back and was like well they don't have them with v8's i was like told u... don't think u know more than the customer, and i walked out of the door... i love being an ass to sales guys... its soo fun. haha

I bought a 2003 SXT back in Feb. and I love it. I got in the Patriotic Blue w/ Pearl Coat. It is a beautiful truck, it also has the fiberglass cover in same color, as well as the stainless steel nerf bars. I do have to agree, the V8 would have been nice, but I don't need to waste the gas money. Can't wait to add more.
