I've found it really pays to shop around. Some Canadian stores (including Chrysler dealers) sell the K&N FIPK for up to $460. If you order it from Speedtweaks, even with exchange and shipping it still comes heck of a lot less. Almost everything I've added to my truck came from the US, namely ebay.

Message: What about duty? I think if you buy off ebay, you don't bay duty if it's used, but if new don't you still have to pay the duty? I'm just thinking if there were some good online stores up here it would save on the duty. DRP, I'm in Calgary.

Message: Sorry, yeah, I put in two dots before com.
I ask people to designate the packages as "gift" or $0 value. I've only been dinged once, but it was a biggie - $55 on my air intake. I got the bill about a month afterwards from UPS.
The Canadian Tire here just started carrying K&N Filters, don't know if that applies to all of them. They are 20% off this week.

Message: I just put in the K&N filter. First upgrade. Looking at the gibson cat back- kinda want to wait and see if k&N comes out with the air intake for my 4.7. If not might by the air raid. I'll check out the website, thanks.

Message: www.vanandtruckworld.com is one I like to visit everynow and then. Also, if you get the Canadian Tire Performance catalogue, it has a lot of good stuff for our trucks. But like Lesley said, always double check the price.
Cheers!

Message: Ital Stallion :
I totally agree with you, it is very tough to find performance parts in Calgary.
There are some other stores in Calgary that deal with perf parts, like Guyon Racing on Edmonton Tr. (www.guyonracing.com). I've checked out the website and it appears to me they deal mostly with rice-a-roni cars.
Modern Motors (www.modernmotors.com) on Blackfoot doesn't seem to carry that many performance parts, but they do carry accessories for trucks.
Unlimited Performance (www.unlimitedperformance.com - their website seems to be down at the moment) seems to be about the best place in Calgary. They deal with a whole wide range of vehicles, from trucks to sports cars. They don't carry many parts in stock but they can special order it for you. They are off Blackfoot Tr., I believe 46th Ave (??).
I know there is Mopac on 16th ave., and from their website they seem to carry some decent parts as well.
