Subject: Tool box removal IP: Logged
Message: I have a 92 ext cab dakota and would like to know how the toolbox/jack storage under the seat comes out. I have removed the 8 bolts(four on each side) but the box is still firmly attached. Do all the interior panels need to come off or am I just missing some bolts. thanks in advance.

Message: I use mine for storage so have not tried to take it out. I think it is part of an overlay for the rear floor pan though.

Message: The box has a flap on the back that is glued to the back wall of the cab, also ther is some overlap of the side panels over the box, so you will have to lever them out of the way to get the box out.
