i just got a 96 s10 with no e-brake cable is it "safe" to just leave it in gear as long as im not on a steep hill?
and one more thing... what is cheaper/better engine rebuild or get a new engine alltogether? ~3.4l vortec v6~

Some E-Brakes fall about. So watch out for the wear and tear on your pedal. Like most other parts on a dodge truck.
