Message: go to frisco, yosimite (sp?), if you want to see some bentleys and lambo's, you can cruse sunset blvd. (some fine girls also). california adventure kinda sucks, but you might want to do it just because.
and also watchout for asian drivers in so. cal(not all, but most)
HAVE FUN! ;-)

Message: I would recommend Six Flags Magic Mountain. A theme park just north of L.A. I havnt been there in a long time but since then they have only gotten new roller coasters. Its an awesome place if you like extreme rides. Not a good place for little kids but since its your honey moon I dont think youll be taking your kids. You should check it out. Sure beats Disneyland. In my opinion that is.

Message: If you're going to be heading from SoCal up towards Reno, I HIGHLY recommend hwy 49. Run up I-5 to 99 North, then get on 41 at Fresno, and 49 at Oakhurst. Incredible driving road!!! Great scenery! 49 runs right into hwy 80 which you can take straight into Reno, with a pit stop at Tahoe. This avoids Vegas, but I'll take the mountains over Vegas any day of the week.

Message: Thanx for all your info so far, How about camping areas? We don't wanna spend everynight in a hotel that could get a lil costly. Also how about and dakota meets around that time or truck shows? Oh and we don't have any kids so that doesn't matter. She likes the extreme rides so we will probably do six flags.

Message: If your goin to do the hwy 49 bit, it would be faster to go up I-5 to 41 north to Fresno, and avoid 99. It's quicker to not take the 99 and I-5 meets up with 41 and is a straighter shot. I live just south of Fresno. Should be pretty easy to find camping in Cali. If you want some awsome scenery with nice camp sites, go to Seqouia National Park. It's east of Visalia, and is just awsome with lots of interesing places to visit while you are there. I woudl recomend stopping in San Fransisco on your way down and goin to see Golden Gate Bridge, and ALcatraz. Spend the night there, and take in China Town as well. Go south along the coast to Santa Cruz for the Boardwalk, then stop in San Jose for Winchester Mansion, then you can hit Monterey and Hurst Castle, then Morro Bay, Pismo Beach,... The drive along the coast is awsome and worth while. The Pacific water is extremely cold even in SoCal though so don't expect to be swimming. How long you looking ot be in Cali. You can spend a month in just SoCal and not see all the sites. If you make it down to San Diego, go to the San Diego Zoo.

Message: For camping you can usually pick up info @ the information centers @ the state borders. Also look @ what ever states website or the national parks & wildlifes website.. You should be able to find campsites @ all of those.
