I have a 3.9 dak and here is the problem i am having, It runs fine and then when i stop and park it, the rpms drop almost causing it to shut off and then the rpms go back up to 7 or 8 and it idels fine, sometimes it shuts off, anyone have any sugestions? Thanks

Jesse, try cleaning the IAC solenoid (and throttle body as well).

I've got the procedure up on the SpeedTweaks "Tips and Tricks" page.

Ok, i know what you are talking about, i will do it as soon as i get home today,
This morning it was having problems starting, if i let off of the gas it would die, so i left it home, and it also sounded like the batt was dieing, Im going to test the batt today also. Thanks.

You wanna hear something weird? The same thing was happening on my '89 3.9. A few months ago, I switched from Fram oil filters to a K&N oil filter, and the problem stopped. Could the oil filter have done that?!?

I'm not sure about the "89" but a lot of MOPARS
had a shut down if oil pressure got too low.so it wouldn't destroy engine.

You guys wont belive this but it was the battery, I replaced it with another mopar one, and i cleaned my iac solinoid, yall should do it, I noticed a difference. But thanks for all yalls help.
