Takes most people around 4-5 weeks to get theirs in, mine took 5 and a half, just to let you know, but the wait is worth it!

Thanks guys, I just got back from the dealer about an hour ago, AAGGGHHH is it 6 weeks yet lol they didn't have a CC 4x4 auto so I drove a 4x4 manual QC the thing sits a bit higher than the ol' s10 (not so) xtreme lol that QC is huge inside but the small bed is a real bummer, I also drove a CC 4x2 v6 (no where near as peppy as the 4.7L) so I could get an idea on how big the inside was, man I can't wait, I told the salesman that I didn't want them to do a full prep job, I said they can check the fluids but don't take any plastic off, as soon as I get it I'll take pics

Congrats! 6 weeks, thats not so loooooong, its ooooooonly a moooonth and a haaaalf. Merry Xmas Ho! Ho! Ho! What a long time it will be between Thanksgiving and Christmas for you. I had a guy put me to sleep until mine came in, do want the number? What color/package did you end up with?

I sure hope it takes only 6 weeks I ordered mine 5 weeks ago and I can't take it.I called the other day and its in quality control it was built on the 26th of Oct,I sure hope this means its ready to come home to me soon.Laters

My wife and I ordered our 02's on 0ct 8 and hers was in on the 29th of Oct and mine came in on the 31st of Oct. I guess it helps that the dealer is 3 miles from the Dakota factory.
Wifes- 4x2 quad 3.9, abs,slt + limited slip,power o/h group auto. atlantic blue w/ silver lower.
mine- club cab v8 slt plus 4x4 all options except leather,pwr seat and steering wheel audio controls and rear defroster. Graphite w/silver lower.

I figured I'd reuse this old post. (to avoid pissing people off)
Well I called the dealer today and it'll be at the dealer the 15th of December, now I'm geeked, before it was like, ok it's ordered now I have to wait a bunch a weeks, but now I have a 2 week date to look forward to as soon as I get it I'll become a member.

I ordered my 4.7 5spd SC 4WD during the first week of november and it only took them 13 days to build and deliver it! It blew the dealers minds too. Good luck with yours!

I had a sneaky feeling that stupid post was behind your opening statement. No one has made andrew the forom cop so I wouldn't worry about it. Looks like he got about a zero positive response to that post. Talk about a useless,unecessary post. I don't think repeated posts pi$$ people off, most mature people will recognize the subject and opt to pass if they don't want to offer an opinion or a suggestion.
