Subject: BFG A/T Tread Life? IP: Logged
Message: I'm looking into the BF Goodrich All-Terrain A/T KO tires for my truck. I plan on doing a little off-roading but I do put on several hundred highway miles a year(800 mi round trip from home to school). Anyway, I know the A/T's don't have a tread life warranty, but can anyone vouch for their quality in terms of tread wear/life?

Message: My old front 32" BFG A/T's still have tread on them...even after multiple off-road "romps" and about 30K miles on them. (The rears are just about bald though...hehehehe...don't know why.) ;)
They last...don't worry about that.

Message: I'll second that!
I drive 20 miles each way to work each day. My 33" A/T KOs have 29K on them and have 88% of their tread left (compared to the spare, which has never been on road). I have AWD, so they are all wearing pretty evenly. They're also quiet on the highway and rip through the Indiana snow very nicely.

Message: Hey 4x4 Tony, where've you been. Did you ever find out how gas was getting into your oil? Any 1/4 mile times after all those mods?
