Anyone with the V-Tech Ram's Head tail light covers: can they be safely taken off and put back on. I want to color-match them and don't feel like replacing them if I don't have to.

Mine were put on with 2way tape they were stuck hard but should be able to get them off to be painted but you will need more 2way tape. Be patient and pull them off slowly

I never pulled mine off but have had to for customers and my shop had the tape but I think you can get it at almost any hardware store. It is just thin 2 way tape.

Try GENTLY heating the cover with a blow dryer on low to help soften the adhesive... Key word here is DON't GET IT TOO HOT, GENTLY...
Should help a bit.

Hank, I got my 3M Adhesive from Wal-Mart in the auto dept. It's called embliem tape or sumthin like that. the tape's grey & red
