Are you guys Morons? The only reason that the Former Big 3 had to quite churning out huge quanity of sh#t is because of market pressure from Import vechiles. If your heads were not so far up your As#'s you would know that a Toyota Truck bought New in USA has more American made parts then a Chevy or a Dodge. It also is assembled here. Toyota has several plants here in the USA. Their top 10 vechiles are built here in the U.S. by Americans. I bet you did not know that GM and Toyata share some facilitys like the NUMI Plant in California. If Chyrsler, General Motors, and Ford would quite sending our jobs to mexico and canada then we might actualy have an economy again. I do not know what we would do if Toyota, Mercedes and BMW closed al of their plants down here in the USA. P.S. I you have a Dakota with a 4.7 you have a Denso Alternator. The Denso plant that made that alternator is in TN. and is owned by Toyota! The electronics in the ECM and PCM are mostly Japanesse.If you took all of the parts that were assembled outside of the U.S. and took all parts not made in the U.S. you would not have anything that you could drive.

yeah ... I think he was saying that Dodges are better trucks than Toyotas. Obviously, that would be a crowd favorite (being posted on the website "dodgedakotas.com").
I owned an 89 Toyota with a 2.2, a 5-speed, and 4x4. The thing ran like a champ - until it smashed head-on into another (drunk driver's) car at 40 mph a piece -- you could even say the truck saved my life (depending on how you look at it). I walked away with barely a bruised rib, the drunk driver was not so fortunate, however. That was my first vehicle. I have so many memories in that thing. Like the time I had to drive 30 miles to my buddy's work to fix the broken fuel line that was shooting gas all over the road (in rush-hour traffic) behind me. Or the time my rear, passenger side leaf springs broke in half (just driving down the road) -- I think the guy who owned it before me had a fat wife or something (it always did sit a little crooked) -- so crooked that when I first got it, I just thought the headlights needed some adjusting.

Now not to be an anit- American motors guy. But I have seen a few trucks on CNN that the Teliban were driving, Toyotas, or maybe they were Nissan. But They had some nice looking rigs. 33's, rollbar, grille guards, etc. Personally, I dont want to drive any truck but Dodge, but those couple Toy's ro what ever forign trucks they were over in Agfh. were looken kinda nice.

Yeah some of the Toyota QC's they drive are actually pretty cool. I used to drive a nissan some years ago and still get jealous when I see the U.N. driving those landcruiser style nissan SUV's
