Message: Ummmm on the topic about water entering your k&n. Think about what yall are saying. K&n filters are made for one reason and that is to suck air like a motha in your motor and they have a lot of holes in them as well. I hydro locked my motor with out the ram air hood, i had a open element filter hit a puddle and boom enstant hydro lock. Now this being said how much water you think i pumped out of it? Beings this filter doesnt suck up that much water and it vaporizes and a beer keg intake that would mean it would have to suck it up through the runners from the top of the belly pan. I pumped over a liter of water out that damn truck because that filter went loco and sucked like hell. Just something to think about. And safety, ahhhhhhhh hahahaha if your coming home from work and its raining, you aint going to check into a motel 6. That is the dumbest selling point i have ever heard. Well if its raining hard and our hoods dont work for crap you shouldnt be out on the roads. It takes one tablespoon of water to hydro lock your motor. Do some research before buying any intake or hood.
Just giving a bit of info, so no backlash on your hater and all that crap.
