Message: It's the different body styles of the Dakota. Don't knwo the years for the GenI or when it switched to GenII, but the GenII ran up through '96, then switched to the current body style of the GenIII Daks.

Message: Gen I is from 1987 to 1990. Gen II is from 1991 to 1996, and is the same body style as the Gen I, but with a different grille and magnum engines. Gen III is the newest body style from 1997 to present.
