Message: My clearcoated wheels have some stains that look like brake dust but they will not come off with soap and water. Can anyone recommend a good, safe wheel cleaner for clearcoated wheels?

Message: Mequiars makes a really good aluminum wheel polish that is safe for clear coated wheels. To make short work of it, use a dremel with a small cloth pad, it works great and you don't have to worry about damaging the clearcoat with the low rpm's. I wax my wheels everytime I wax the truck, the brakedust dust does not stain the wheels as fast and comes off alot easier. If you do not wax much or just use a drive thru car wash, spray on a good aluminum wheel cleaner like Mequiars or Hot Wheels that will rinse off while going through the car wash or with a hose. And Don't forget some Bleche White for those White Letters and a good soaking of some Tire Shine, ahh there just like new!
