I have a 93 Dakota with the 318 and would like to know the easiest way to remove the V8 badges on the front end of my Dakota. I dont want to tear them up since I will have to put them back on further down the line.

If it is like my 1999 Dak, there is a hole through the fender and is attached via a plastic post off the back of the badge that is mushroomed on the back side. It would be very hard to get off without damaging them or the fender while trying to pry it off unless you can reach it from the back side. Either way, you will be left with a hole and I suspect that you do not want that. If you are lucky, it is only attached with some form of adhesive and a heat gun(or a good hairdryer) should help with removal.

you can use some fishing line or floss and string it behind the badge like you are flossing - just peel the glue away after you remove. However you may have a small hole left in your fender from removal if there is a pin in the badge.

Junkyard or Dealer, not usually an aftermarket item.

Do they make 4 cylinder badges?

If they were put on Dak's from the factory, you should still be able to get them and would likely be cheaper at a junkyard since they are an older item.
