Anybody using Mobil 1 I just bought it in a 5 qt jug at Wal-Mart for $17.88 -> $ 3.58 qt pretty cheap

I use it and I love it!Sounds Like that saves a couple bucks,A Wall-Mart just opened up in Logan OH. about 20 minuts from me,now I gotta reason to go!

Mobile-1 is an excellent oil. I use mobile-1. It has great oxidation resistance and holds it viscosity well. Their are a few synthetics that are better but they are not available at retail outlets and cost alot more. I doubt that much more protection then what mobile one gives is required for a daily driver.

Yup, use the stuff me self, I like it, pumps up quick and maintains viscosity over time.
I recommend it to anyone who wants an engine to last. Lubrication is good!
Also, stay away fromj FRAM filers.
I use purolators.

Mobil 1 has a website at www.mobil1.com. They make a pretty good case for their product as have the many people who have posted comments here regarding their own reasearch. Mobil 1 can be found at Costco although I haven't priced it yet. It should be a good deal. Thanks to all at this site for your oil postings.

Why are Fram filters bad? I have always heard good things about them. Consumer reports did a test on filters and Fram tested as being one of the best beating out Purolator.
