I plan on ordering a cc 4x4 sport in a 2 weeks, I know the 4.7L is the only v8 I can get but since I'm ordering it do you think the'll let me get a 5.9L and the 46re if I'm willing to spend the money?

When I got my 2000 you could get the 2.5, 3.9, 4.7, 5.2, and 5.9 engines. Heck, I think the 5.9 comes in the RTs... who said you can only get the 4.7?

I'm talking about a 4x4 Club Cab sport plus. on the 4adodge.com website you can only chose a 3.9L or a 4.7L. maybe the slt option is different let me check it out.

They don't use the 5.9L in the 4x4's anymore?
The 5.2L was dropped in early 2000.

yea according to the website the 2002 CC dosent come with a 5.9L only the 4.7L and a 3.9L this pisses me off, altough the 4.7L is an awesome motor the torque is so much more in a 5.9L, I know you can tweek a 4.7L, but you'll have that much more power with a 5.9L.

Unless I'm mistaken, the only Daks available with the 5.9 are the quad cab and RT. All others have the 4.7 as the only V8 available.

You can still get a 5.9 in a 4x4. A 5.9 is available in a QC 4x4 or an R/T only. You can only get the 3.9 or the 4.7 in a Club Cab or Regular Cab 4x4.

I guess the subject of the post says it all, I will not be able to get a 5.9L with a cc 4x4.
I guess it was worth a shot. watch 2003 they'll offer it. SuperDak yep it replace the 5.2L.

super dak, the 5.2 was replaced by the 4.7 and the 3.9 is replaced by a 3.7 which I am guessing will hit the dak next year. every truck engine seems to go in the grand Cherokee first.
