Marvel Mystery Oil is nothing more than mineral spirits, naphthenic distillate (aka paraffin oil) and dichlorobenzene. It's basically toxic waste and useless for what it's advertised for.
The only mystery is why anyone would use this crap and beleive it's doing your engine any good at all.

Message: I just found this thred and now it is 2009!
I read it all and liked it.
I could add to all sides of this thred but it is too old now. Great stuff all the same.
Just goes to show that you put a bunch of guys together and the flames must flair....
My first car was a 72 dodge van with a 318 and 200k + mi.... still own and like Dodge stuff go figure, my pshchatrist tells me that is normal LOL. I have everything from a 90 caravan that refuses to die to a viper ( btw do jeeps count as a dodge product)? I use moble 1 in viper other cars may see MMO from time to time.
A good product is a good product especialy when used in a way that works. Some times people start to make these good peoducs into religous icons and then it distorts the reality of things.
I grew up catholic, one day I want to find out whats in holy water? probably offended some people with that remark but thats what seems to help keep threds alive:)
Mike
By the way thred aproching 10 yrs old no one said that they use MMO in air tools????
