under hood wire splice
drivers side inner fender well
black fuse/relay box
remove it carefully
untape the wire harness
your looking for a splice of 3 to 4 wires
your year truck should be red an white wires
the splice either breaks or gets all cruded up
cut the bad stuff out, re'do the splice
retape the harness

and it's not by
that is the fuse/relay box you want to remove
then follow my instructions above

i checked and repaired the red wirers and still no power at coil what else could it be

yes you have to pay, but its worth it

Great help from this site, any help please, 95 Dakota keeps shorting out 40 amp fuse "ign" wire. Question where does the red wire go from the box,,, starter,coil,alternator (etc) I have looked can not follow it -only red wire goes thru harness toward ignition switch,, any help Thanks, Mike
