Hello, my remote for my door locks doesn't seem to be very responsive. Sometimes I'll have to hit it several times before the doors lock or unlock. I've replaced the battery to no avail. I'm pretty sure its the remote itself. Can anyone confirm that? Also, does anyone know how much it costs and what is involved with getting a new remote transmitter? Thanks.

Hey Manuel, does it usually do this in specific places? For example, mine sometimes completely won't work at all at some gas stations; pretty embarassing to hit it many times only to then use the key. But then at the mail station at my apartment complex I'm completely at ease to keep it running and manually lock the door and rely on the keyless only. But what I'm suggesting is that it might be interference.

Location doesn't seem to have anything to do with it. It doesn't seem to ever work unless I am close to the vehicle. Like I said, the batteries have been replaced.

The remote won't work too far away. How many feet are you talking. I had a reomte once that unlocked my doors at about 3 blocks away man. When I left parties I would unlock my doors when I hoped over the tracks to act cool. All my friends would yell out, "Don't unlock your doors so far away Sancheesy!!!" I dond't listen and now I'm driving a converatable Polaris. Bummer Man. Hope you get your clicker fixed.
