 Subject: 1997 dodge dakota bed liner

I'm trying to remove the bed liner of a 1997 dodge dakota. I believe its a factory over rail screwed in bed liner. It initially looks very simple to remove, but there's something the screws are connecting to on the backside of the liner that I cannot access to reinstall it. I can probably remove it easily enough, but I cannot find how to reinstall the bed liner once its remove. Does anyone have any suggestions? (I've searched quite a bit online and on youtube with no success).
