 Subject: wont idle after replaced alternator

I ran my battery dead after my alternator went out.
I replaced my alternator and battery but now it
won't idle without gas. So I replaced my Iac, fuel
pump relay, battery terminals, cleaned tb, checked
throttle air control valve and looked fine. It also
exausts white smoke and smells like gas. Could it be
my distributor cab and plugs or what.Honestly I'm
stumped and just want to give it to the scrap yard.
Any help will do thank you.

Charge the battery then put back in truck.
