Any sugestions as to where to mount the switch and where to get power from (for the switch) would be greatly appreciated . . .

Message: You can now buy a remote control for fog/driveing lights. No drilling thru the fire wall and no wires under the dash to fool with. Check with Auto Zone.

Message: I put the factory ones in and all I did is went to the salvage yard and got the switch and relay and the wiring is already there so all you have to do is replace the switch thats in the truck with the one from the junk yard making sure that it has the driving light symble on it and plug in the relay find the wires and if you use the after market ones you can still use the connectors for the factory ones just find out which side is poss and which is neg.

Message: I got some Pilot lights from G.I. Joes on sale. not bad lights, aside from the fact that the seals on 'em aren't worth crap, and tehy fill with water after a few months. The wiring was easy, run one to the battery, ground it in the engine compartment, run the wires thru a grommet into the cab(like where all the computer stuff feeds thru). Don't have a drill, so screwed the switch in right by the hood latch....gotta fix it....
sorry to ramble, HTH
