Message: my transfer case broke off the overdive housing on my auto trans in my 97 Dakota 5.2L. well I need a new trans and tcase. looking around and im coming up with a biggg parts bill. Im very well rounded in vehicles and really well rounded in Dakotas. I was thinking about buying this Dakota off craigslist a year newer with the same engine but a 5spd. is it worth it to do the 5spd swap???
