Is there any tricks to reset security?
Truck just starts and dies and no gauges
or warning lights are working only thing i
can think it could be any other ideas
what it could be?

Ok this sounds like the alarm system is going off and is keeping your truck from running. what you can try is to take the key out and use the power door lock switch to lock the doors and close it. wait about 2 mins and then use the key to unlock both of the front doors.do not open the doors until they are both unlocked. and then try it and see if it will start.

if all else fails bang ontop of the instrument cover could be a short on the instrument board,

Would short in interment panel cause it
