Message: Change the power steering pressure switch and clean the
wiring harness and connectors to the O2 sensor. Chances are
the O2 sensor never was the problem. It's something that's
been discussed on here several times before.

Message: Daddio is right, as it happened to my 2000 4.7 liter several years ago.
The power steering high pressure switch leaks fluid into the wiring harness, fouling the drivers side pre cat O2 sensor.
Replace the switch, clean up the O2 sensor and wiring, add PS fluid if needed, you hopefully will be good to go.
