 Subject: 2000 Brake Caliper Spring

After replacing my pads and rotors a couple of weeks ago, yesterday i noticed a noise coming from the front brakes. Looking at the rotor i noticed the Caliper spring(part that goes across the length of caliper) may be loose. Either end kinda sits under an extension of the caliper. It looked like one of the ends popped out and started rubbing. Why could they be not stayin under there? The 2 middle tabes ar both in the holes, it just seems like the ends are a little loose! I hope I explained this correctly, any help would be great.
