Message: I have 180,000 miles on my Dakota. I have never had
any service done to it. However, I feel now that I
need to address some things. I went to my local
dealer and asked about a transmission service and
other things. It was recommended to NOT do a
transmission service. I was recommended to do a fuel
injection service, cooling system flush and that was
about it. Can some let me know what I need to do?
Thanks

Message: If its an auto trans just drain it change the filter and refill do not
flush it. Flush the cooling system. I never believed flushing a
fuel system. My 00 has 170k on it still runs like new and gets
the same mileage it always has without flushing the fuel
system. Service the rear diff also.
