Message: All i'll say to this thread is: FabTech.
I ran the Fabtech 3" Suspension Lift with a Performance Accessories 2" Body Lift and 32" BFG's. That combination puts you almost 2" above a factory 4x4. (With much more clearance up front.)
The truck is lowered now but i've put together a 'Before and After' picture:

Message: Bernd, was the Fabtech lift hard to install? I just ordered the kit and I'm also going to try and put it on myself (with some help from a friend). Is there anything (tips/tricks) I should know before I install it?

Message: The hardest part was the front coils from Fabtech. They're a @#$! to compress.
Word of caution: You WILL need different rims as the Fabtech kit requires a maximum of 3.75" backspacing on the rims to fit the new control arms. I found out the hard way after finishing it up on a late Friday evening...factory rims rubbed on the upper control arms and I had to make a quick run to San Antonio to get a set.
