 Subject: size of gas tank

1998 Dakota Sport V8 318 won't start- think it might be fuel pump and I need to know what size my tank is to get the right pump.
I know 15 is standard and 22 is optional, but can't find how to tell which one I have.
I don't fill up from empty very often so I can't remember how much it takes when I do.
All I know is the tank steps down in the front so from the side it looks like a school bus.
there are some numbers on the bottom but haven't found anywhere that can tell me if any of those tell what size the tank is.
