Ok, so I have a '98, 3.9L automatic, 4x4 Dakota. I've had
about a million problems with it and want to sell it because
I'm tired of throwing money at it. Right now, everything
seems to be working for the time being, except... Even
though it is automatic, it seems to slip out of gear. Like the
shifter itself actually slips. I'll be driving along just fine and
then the truck will start jumping a little, I look over and the
shifter is no longer completely in drive. Does that make
sense? Anyway, how difficult/expensive is this to fix? Should
I fix it before I try to sell it or just tell potential buyers about
the problem? Any help and/or advice would be greatly
appreciated!
