Subject: frontend problems IP: Logged
Message: Im rebuilding my front sus regularly do to the fact it cant
handle the payload im requiring it to handle.i need a fullsize
truck but im married lol.what can i up grade to make it
work....for a while.2006 base model v6 auto.its financial killin
me alive ...any ideas.

Message: An `06...and you have had to rebuild the front end more than once already? You did not mention what kind of miles you are getting out of it. You also didn't mention if you had any modifications done that would contribute to wearing things out early. Off-set wheels are a front end killer no matter how you drive it.
I would think you would be going through brakes if you are overloading it. Are you getting warrantied parts and replacing them yourself? If so, at least you should be getting replacement parts for free, provided you are stuffing receipts in the glove box.
If it's the 'duty' you are putting your rig through that is wearing the front end out (repeatedly), then you need a larger rig plain and simple. If it's as harsh as your post indicates, I would be looking for a good used 3/4 ton at a minimum...knowing full well that your mileage is going to suffer.
