 Subject: 4x4 wont engage

I have a 2002 dakota rwd4x4 v8 and i
had removed my front driveshaft to be
repaired. I drove it a bit with it out and
now put the new one back in but i notice
on the knob that shows if four hi or low
or 2wd is engaged is not on. So my 4x4
will not engage. Also my heater only
engages on full now. Well the shaft was
out i replaced my passenger door and
put on my winter tires dont no if that
matters. Please help

i had the 4x4 problem with my 01, check the tranfor case where the conection is for the switch i found they come unplugged everonce in a while your heater not turning on fully is prolly the resistor block i had to change one out in a 02 1500, kind of a pain but they arent bad to do
