Subject: PEOPLE WHO HAVE HAD REAL PROVED EXPERIEN IP: Logged
Message: I have tried a few different injector cleaners and really dont see a difference. For the first time I just tried Lucas fuel injector cleaner. The stuff has no solvents in it to clean off the tips/holes in the injectors,The stuff is like a light weight oil. Looks like it will be good for lubricating injectors and everything else it gets in contact with, but not clean them. I am looking for a good cleaner. Someone told me that BG44 is a great product. If anyone has had some real visual experience with injector cleaners I would really like to hear about it. Everyones comments would be great.
THANK YOU EVERYONE AS ALWAYS!

Message: Are you having a problem with the injectors? I never use a cleaner, just good quality gas, which has all the detergent needed.

Message: No problems, I am looking for a good quality cleaner that someone has actually seen the results. I know the fuel has additives in it. But like everything else companies are trying to cut corners everywhere. So I want to use my own good potant cleaner about every 5,000 miles.

Message: Waste of money. The oil companies are using 5x the minimum amount of cleaner in even the 87 octane fuel. That's right from an Exxon-Mobil chemist to a friend of mine who visited a refinery. I've driven cars over 200K and even 300K miles with absolutely no cleaners added whatsoever, and they still ran like new, passed emissions like new, got same gas mileage as new.
