 Subject: Transmission leak repair cost estimate

I have a transmission seal leak - it is right near the 4x4 transfer case (it isn't the transfer case that is leaking). It is about 1 drop per day on my garage floor.
Any estimate on the cost to repair it?
I do need to change the transmission fluid so I'll get it done at that time.

Hard to estimate when we don't know exactly what's leaking. But if you have the dealer change fluid and filter, you're looking at about $200 plus this repair.

Looks like about $600 for two seals and dropping the pan, changing the filter and fluid.

I got 140K miles- about 30k mi towing 3k lb trailer - on the 3.9L 4x4. This is the first major repair. It still shifts well.
