Subject: front coil springs 91-96 IP: Logged
Message: Anyone know of a source for progressive coils springs for a 1994 with a 318? Moog makes them but only lists a part number for v6 trucks. I called Summit, and they in turn called Moog, and they don't make a part. I called a company I found online 'Bue Coil' and they said they could make them for me at $150 per spring, but couldn;t guarantee if they would be exactly what I want as far as ride goes. I'm trying to maintain stock ride height, but I want less marshmallow in the corners.

Message: An easier solution for that may be a heavier anti-sway bar in the front with urethane bushings on the anti-sway bar and end links.

Message: I actually found a company who is making progressive springs for me. I'm building my truck with a dual purpose. I want to drag race it, but I'd also like to take it to a road course. Making it handle "like a rocket sled on rails" is my goal, or as close as possible, it is afterall a pickup truck.
