My ABS light came on with my emergency brake light is on and my speedometer quit working all at once!
Can anyone tell me what went wrong? is it the ECM?
or what?

Could be a fuse, could be the speed sensor. What year truck? Check fault codes:

It's more likely the RWSS (Rear Wheel Speed Sensor) located in the center section of the rear diff. When it goes bad it will cause the symptoms you described.

Just yesterday the speedometer on my '96 became erratic. No lights are coming on; the odometer appears to still be working correctly and the cruise control works fine. Would you still point to the speed sensor, or pull the instrument cluster and look for bad solder joints? Or???
