 Subject: Rust?

I just finished washing my truck,and when I was drying it off,I noticed a little bit of rust on the fuel filler neck,where the cap screws on. Not a lot, but any rust is bad.
Have any of you guys(or girls) noticed this on your trucks? Should I be concerned?

I've noticed the exact same thing on mine. I forgot to mention it to the dealer last time I was in for service.

I have a 98 v6 dakota and it is doing the same thing. I sprayed Rustcheck on it to stop it.

I got down and checked underneath mine a couple of weeks ago, and was completely dismayed to see that the leaf springs and axles were all rusty (I wanted it to stay new!). The actual underside of the truck body looked perfect though. I had it undercoated last year, hope it helps, I really hate rust too.

my front bumper (flat black sport bumper) is all chipped and is rusting in some small spots. and the bar underneath the drivers side window (the one covered in that rubber stuff) is rusting underneath the rubber covering on it.

When I had my '97 it rusted in both areas but then some guy pulled a left hand turn coming from the other way right into my path. He bought me a new bumper and lots more stuff as well. Oh well guess I got new bumper out of the deal.

RustCheck really works. It has halted the rust. I had the complete truck done, undercartrige, quarter panels and doors. The did some drilling and pluged the holes after spraying the rustcheck.
