Subject: Windshield wipers IP: Logged
Message: I have a 1993 dakota.
The windshield wiper doesn't work. Not the motor, but the wipre arm on the passenger side. I put a new wiper arm on and apparently what the wiper arm sits on is busted. Now does anyone know where I can find some new ones at and what they're called?
It looks like a cylinder with slits down the side. I went to autozone and advance auto and they couldn't find anything. And I know it's not the "windshield arm linkage". Thanks in advance for the help. I really appreciate it.

Message: Windshield wiper transmission assembly. Your better off going to a junk yard to get a replacement. Dealers want about $300 for it. Junk yard about $25.

Message: Well I got it fixed. Turns out the brand new wiper arm they gave me was junk, then the new one they gave me after that one was junk too. It wasn't the nut thing because I switched the arms and it worked great on it. So I got my money back and went to Autozone and their wiper arm worked b-e-a-utifully. Thanks for the help guys, I really appreciate it
