Ok my 1st gen Dakota keeps showing the same codes. Only time the check engine light comes on is when I'm in 5th gear at 50 mph or 4th gear at 55 mph. Not for a prolonged time though. Just when about to shift up or down or slowin down in gear. Maybe 15-20 seconds and it will show up. Codes are 12, 32, and 55. Always get 12 and 55 even when no check engine light comes on. 32 only comes on after check engine light. Funny thing is it's always after driving for about 20 mins when it happens. Usually once a week.
Would like to have a chart showing all the codes if anyone knows where to find them. None of my manuals have them.

Code 32 is a malfunctioning EGR valve (no change in O2 content of the exhaust when EGR is activated).
