I would like to find out if I could even
put a 360 in my 01 Dakota 4x4, b/c I no
that they stopped putting 360's in the
Dakota after 99. And if so what would I
need besides a new tranny(to handle the
power) , a 5.9 PCM with 4x4 on it, and
the wiring harnesses. Thanks

You are misinformed. The 5.9 was an option until '03. A donor engine, PCM and tranny should be all you need.

Try www.car-part.com. You can search salvage yards across the country. Most will ship and some even offer warranties. Or try craiglist
