Subject: Towing with my Dakota IP: Logged
Message: Hi all,
Just purchases a travel trailer. 21 1/5 feet starcraft Antigua. Going to pull it with my 04 dakota quad cad V8 automatic. I need to purchase a weight distribution hitch with sway control. There seems to be alot out there. Anyone have any experience with these and which one I should get?
Thanks in advance

Message: I went with the E2 for my flatbet trailer. No chains, no hydraulic ram that needs to be removed when backing up, and it seems to tuck up higher. Just need to grease it so the arms don't squeek when they slide.
Below is the sight I ordered from. That was several years ago. Looks like they haven't went up much.

Message: Kevin,
Does your auto tranny have a cooler?
If you have the trailer towing pack form the factory you do.
If not, you'll need it for sure, or burn up your tranny.

Message: The Todd: I just put the HO cams in my 4.7, what else of your mods list gave you a good increase? So far I have pretty much nothing else done but am considering an SCT tuner. Is it worth it?
