Subject: turn signal help! IP: Logged
Message: So my right rear turn signal stopped working. Hazard and
brake in same location do not work either. Just a fast blink on
the dash. I switched all lights front and rear no change. Next
thought was the flasher. I ordered a efl24. It still didn't work.
But the guts of the flasher are not the same. Can anyone give
me the correct model # for the flasher through dodge or any
big box stores? Also any other thoughts on what it may be?

What year do you have for the flasher? Dodge should
have one for you. I don't think the one you have is
bad though, rapid flashing is normal when you have a
bulb out.

Message: swapped plug ends right to left and the same side still does not work. I found a dealer that would let me "test" to see if the flasher would help... took it out in the lot and left mine on the counter so that he knew I wouldnt swap them. That did not help. Now I am somewhat thinking it is the multi function switch. the signal lights on the dash now stay on when hazards or right turn signals are applied. left is normal. I started to "jiggle" the plug that goes into the mfs and that stopped then started again, then stopped and the parking break light came on. The plug is in properly, locked and all. Possible? what else could it be?

DG w/BR tracer in a 2000 goes to the multifunction
switch through a connector at the left inner fender,
and then through the connector behind the brake
pedal with the bolt holding it together.

Message: Sorry Matt, I don't have an '02 wiring diagram.
Since playing with the MFS seems to change how the
lights work, that may be the cause.

Message: Thanks. I have one on the way from ebay. I temp ran a hot
wire from my third brake light and front turn signal to supply
the rear. Its really funky but it will keep me from getting a
ticket until I figure it all out.
