I'm restoring/modifying a '56 Plymouth hardtop and am considering mating a section of a Dakota front frame to the Plymouth frame so I can take advantage of the later model steering, suspension, brakes and engine mounts.

I have a scanned photo of a '92 Dakota frame from the factory service manual, but would also like to compare the first generation design to see if it's a candidate for the transplant.

If anyone has a factory service manual and could scan the frame photo for me, I'd be forever grateful.

Thank you.

I'm also interested in checking out a third generation frame, if anyone has that manual.

Thanks for responding! Yes, I'd love to see what the '02 frame looks like.

I'm not able to link to your user name to send an e-mail. If you can save the page as a JPEG or PDF file, I might be able to copy it...if this site allows posting pictures in a thread.

Thanks again.

GHS,

Me thinks your 'puter has a virus.

The email you sent me back, had an attachment that my anti-V software identified. I don't think you intended that.

Good luck on your project.

Hmmm...that's odd. My Microsoft virus checker didn't find anything, so I tried McAfee, Norton, and Trend Micro. They didn't find anything either...!!!!
