Message: I am having a problem with my 4 hi not engaging on my 97- which i believe has the 231 transfer case- I have been able to get into 4 low but it does "jump" out of that some as well- Not sure where to start looking and can not find anything on trouble shooting 4wd problems... (note- shifter is on the floor, not the push-button type)- Any help, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated - driving in Michigan is not fun.
